This year I have driven in Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, San Diego, New Orleans, and Boston. No where do drivers so maliciously try to prevent zipper merges as they do in Winnipeg. Really.

You know, if he is going to try and weaponize the justice system against people, you’d think his first two targets wouldn’t be people intimately familiar with the justice system.

Not that this is a surprise to me, but it really hit me today… the GOP would rather kids die from gun violence than live with autism, and doesn’t that really just shine a light on their humanity…

I had already cancelled Disney+ in January after the tariff issue, but was considering resubscribing at the end of the year. That is now not going to happen. Corporations have to be shown that kowtowing to authoritarians for short term gain is not good for long term business.

Kirk held views I find reprehensible, and I never once found him to be a voice that contributed constructively to political or social dialogue. Nevertheless, his murder is an unconscionable act of political violence and should be condemned.

I just spent a week in Calgary for work. I brought a book that sat in my bedside table all week, clothes to go running in (I didn’t go running), and I forgot the power cord for my work laptop and had to go buy a replacement. Nailed it.

4 years is a lot of time for us to diversify our supply chains and reduce our dependence on American goods. We’re not ever going back to the way things were. That bridge has burned.
