This morning I joined the Mayor, members of the Armed Forces, veterans, cadets, residents & Trafford Council colleagues at our 80th Anniversary of VE Day Service at St Paul’s in Sale. It was a lovely service to mark the end of an important week🇬🇧

On the evening before #VEDay80 it was a privilege to see ‘Letters to Loved Ones’- a collaboration between Imperial War Museum North & the National Theatre. The performance told the story of war, love, separation & loss in a delicate & very moving way.
