It was a pleasure to spend time at Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form Centre alongside Olivia Blake MP, Co-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on SEND. The school does outstanding work supporting young people with Autism and Developmental Language Disorder.

NEW: November NHS stats show that waiting lists fell across England by 86,000. That’s the second biggest drop in NHS waiting lists in 15 years. There's so much more to do - but we're turning round the NHS and getting it back on its feet.

Today, I thanked the Chancellor for lifting the tax-free allowance for APR and BPR. Over 100 farmers have written to me since the change was announced, telling me the difference that this will make, and I was proud to work with colleagues from the LRRG to help alter this policy.

🚨BREAKING: The Government has just announced that it will provide an additional £160.6 million of funding for Derbyshire County Council. Labour is ending Tory austerity and providing a 22% increase in funding - if Reform still can’t deliver, they can only blame themselves.

Reform is promising to lift the moratorium on fracking. This could lead to increased earthquakes, threaten our unique natural landscapes, and undermine our ability to tackle the climate emergency. We must protect our rural environment and have a complete ban on fracking.
