I’ve had to take a step back from everything to prioritize. Body pain, bike damage, financial strain in every direction. I’m still loaning out books, seeing happy faces from patients as they gush about who gets next! @nicksnapeauthor.bsky.social has been a big hit! Request after request! 😂🦾📚💨

Hey all.. got news this morning that a close family member had passed suddenly overnight. I’m gonna be handling things with that for a bit - but I am still here. 😞📚💨🌄

🚨 Project Phoenix gets a huge boost! I provide books to my unit in an inpatient addiction rehab. Another employee runs a lil library too. Our work on this became very visible the last few months (😉). HUGE local library book sale in 3 weeks, and the CEO authorized a chunk of money for it!! 💰

(I suppose if you’d really like to, you could rewrite that with nice fonts and arranging into an 8x11 page or 11x8 printable paper with all that info on the whiteboard. Credit yourself! Artist/Author name and website link, cover art, etc)

I .. liberated? a white board from another part of the building. 😉. My track record of having NO art skills continues, though next week I’ll let an artsy patient redo it for me. 😂

April Updates! There’s another half dozen of YOUR books floating around my unit or the building! My patients are thrilled to have such an awesome selection of self published authors here to read! Reviews have been glowing and every morning someone trades one back in they’ve read. 😁🐦‍🔥📚💨

Long double at work Sunday! I’ll clock in at 3:00pm and be there till 9am. 😁 Holidays in rehab far from family are TOUGH. I’ve done it as a patient, a lot. I’m showin up with a bag of books, 4 diff Uno versions, playing cards, real coffee, and loud music. Fight the good fight, champions. 🫡💚📚🎶🙌🏻

Of course I had to send some books. The cause is good. The dude running it is gold. And anything with Phoenix basically wins me over.
