I've had an amazingly full circle moment today where I was invited to speak at the applied mathematics seminar in Cardiff University. I completed my undergraduate in Cardiff in 2019, so to go back just after completing my PhD and share my success with the people who inspired me was a lovely feeling.

Adding to my list of first time SciComm experiences: Yesterday I did my first school visit to share my talk "Everyday Fluid Dynamics" with a group of passionate A level students. I had a lot of fun, and the students did too - if their many, many questions were anything to go by!
