The honey I got. Beeswax is hydrophobic so its okay to put the honeycomb in water for extracting wax. I got a little, but I stupidly forgot to tie off my cheesecloth!🤣🤦🏽‍♀️I will be trying again, though!

New year, learning new things! This is honeycomb made by #westvirginia #bees. 2 lbs of it. I'm extracting the honey from the comb which will also give me pure #beeswax. I have currently crushed all of the comb by hand and have it in a pot with a strainer to catch the #honey. (See comments)
