Even if Kiseff was going to change up things in Atlyss, that's what you should have understood when you bought into an -early access- game. Thats the risk of impulse. This isn't worth the dogpiling of a solo dev even if this wasn't taken hideously out of context.

Someone in another reply to me actually clarified it even further. It was apparently a real discord message that was taken completely out of context, sent in reply to someone who had been harassing Kiseff for some time. I couldn't find it in the search because the thread it was in was nuked.

PillowFort is SUPER dead. Surprised it's even still online. Shame it gets zero activity because I like blogs. I always preferred them as this nice in-between of gallery site and social media. Cohost bit the dust too and Tumblr is kind of only viable as long as it stays niche.

This is my general concern with hyper stuff. It destroys compositions and silhouettes if you are seriously not versed in those extreme sizes and it's tedious to figure out how something works. There's a ton of supplementary details that make other "main" elements look good that get lost.

Long long ago, I once attempted 3D sculpting in ZBrush. It was the worst 10 hours I've put into any creative endeavor. Somehow, I still have that night's results. I figured I'd share it.

I don't think there's been a point in my life where I've been tired of shmups. They're just kind of a perfect genre and haven't had a dull period in decades. And because they're doomed to be niche, tourists will never have any meaningful amounts of eroding sway on their culture and design.

God bless the few devs lately making sexy girl protag/options that aren't stale moeblobs. Things like LightSpeed Lina, Mecha Break, Atlyss, and Project Stella. It doesn't beat Japanese mascot designs and cool spaceships for me. But they're the next best thing I still REALLY want sometimes.

There has to be a psychological study somewhere on why we punish or chide people who proportionately retaliate against an antagonistic person. I have observed this behavior since I was single digit aged. It baffles me every time.

Honestly, replacing the battery and modding my Vita was such a great decision. RetroArch *drinks* this thing's battery life, but it makes it my dream GBA otherwise. I want to fuck a thick rabbit woman. Fire Emblem 8 was a treat on this. First tactics game I ever completed and I plan to do hard mode.
