Huh, longstanding bug in VSCode is that the cursor position behaves poorly if there are tabs in the line (it moves to the same character count, not same screen position). Apparently screen-line motions in the Vim extension work correctly though, so yay, remaping j/k to gj/gk! 💪🤓 #vim #vscode
