Expanding the #voluntarylicence for cabotegravir long-acting from #HIV prevention to treatment builds on 10+ years of #MPP–#ViiVHealthcare collaboration. Founded by #Unitaid in 2010, MPP helped 23M+ access DTG—now doing the same for CAB LA with generic partners for prevention and treatment.

The MPP and ViiV have expanded their agreement to now include cabotegravir long-acting for both #HIV prevention and treatment. This is the first fully long-acting HIV treatment made available through a voluntary licence in low- and middle- income countries. #IAS2025 #ViiV #Unitaid
