Eik was born in the Golmore Jungle, initially raised to be a wood-warder for his Viera tribe. That is until he strived for more than an isolated existence and ventured out on his own. He eventually finds a home in Rabanstre, with an adoptive foster family, where he can truly say he was "raised".

Slightly better than he did during his warring years in Dalmasca, Bozja, and Garlemald. Back then he would ignore the compliment and return to whatever task was at hand. Nowadays he at least acknowledges it by doing that scoff where you blow air out through your nose.

Eik is highly self critical, struggles with a damaged sense of identity, and often deflects praise. After losing his home of Dalmasca/Rabanastre to the Garleans, losing his adoptive family to Livia, and having his chance of revenge against Livia taken away, his self worth had taken a huge hit.

Eik has a bit of a hate-hate relationship with the Garleans. 💢

Eik is riddled with scars of varying severity. Most, if not all the scars a product of being a soldier for the Dalmascan resistance and later the Bozjan resistance for 30 years. Burn scars also cover his hands, inflicted by Livia Junius, in an interrogation attempt for info on Dalmascan rebels.
