I know politics has taken over this story a bit, but FWIW, I first found out about what Goldman was doing months ago. I learned about it from the activists and immigrants. He is a crucial part of the fight against NY's courthouse detentions.

Advocates told us something powerful yesterday: our presence changed the dynamic inside 26 Federal Plaza and ICE agents finally respected people’s rights when a member of Congress was watching. We will keep up this oversight so immigrants can attend court without fear or intimidation.
