The floor moves to bring them nearly level, and Luminous slowly leans forward.

"Hm..." With a flick of her fingers, the floor moves her up to a more appropriate height. There would be no stooping. "Now, you may."

Her fingers pause as she slowly sets the bowl aside. "That was our agreement."

"I suppose so..." She takes some pride in Silvia's response. It was always quite entertaining. Something to break up the single monotonous tone that droned on through the years. "That sounds like quite an affirmative no," there's a deliberate slither of -

Her fingers settle across the top of Caroline's head, gently digging in as they flex in softly circles. "I always appreciate the efforts of others, regardless of the outcome."

"It has?" She hadn't assumed it had been that long, rarely did she pay attention to such things anymore. And, silence was ever an old friend. Tucking away her screen of hardlight, she hums softly. "Have you found your clarity?"

"Aya," she affirms with a small lift of her lips. "You should take pride in your work."

After a point, the number of years you watch pass by begins to matter less and less.

Silent work of a different type occupies her time. The casing of her arm lies open on a workbench. Its metal shards hover in the air as a single set of fingers and a small construction sentinel work within.

Accepting the bowl, she offers a soft thanks before tasting some. Rich notes of sweetness, countered by a dash of sharp yet pungent cheese that's all swept up in a savoury liquid. It is a bold dish, and while she has had such things before they are not so common anymore. "It is lovely."

The Builder creates without thought. Potential stirs within that thoughtlessness.

Folding away her work, she rises to her feet. A small smile touches her eyes as she slips over into the kitchen. "It does smell quite delectable."

Her attention has returned to her work even as the note of curiosity makes itself known. She offers it time to bloom before interjecting herself. "Where possible I avoid the consumption of others."

"A rather old dish for your people..." With a near appreciative hum she tilts her head. The noise trails off as she glances up from her work. "If it is intended to be suitable I would recommend using an appropriate substitute for the meat stock. Artificial is acceptable."

An amused smile tugs slightly at her features, but she remains lounging in her armchair. "What type of soup might this be?"

Sitting back with a small screen of hardlight, Luminous continues her work as she occasionally glances over.

Watching quietly from the doorway.

"Wonderful, I do rather enjoy your little creations."
