Hoping this is the last international domestic workers day that domestic workers have to repeat the call for a visa which means they can access rights as workers @voiceofdws.bsky.social

Today is #InternationalDomesticWorkersDay. We're headed to Westminster to celebrate with one another, share food, hear speeches and come together again to unite and call on the UK Government to fix the broken domestic workers visa and ratify ILO Convention 189 on decent work for domestic workers 💪

The only message for International Domestic Workers Day. UK restore the original domestic worker visa, ratify ILO C189. Domestic workers are workers and need access to rights! @kalayaan.org.uk #theVoiceofDomesticWorkers

The Board of Trustees of #thevoiceofdomesticworkers are made up of Domestic Workers and non-domestic workers, every other month they meet to discuss the management, finances, services and updates. It is the role of non-domestic workers to guide and support the domestic workers Trustees.
