It pains me to say that Yoshihisa Kishimoto passed away on April 2, 2026. His son confirmed his death on Facebook. He was known for his works on the Kunio-kun and Double Dragon series.

@gdri.bsky.social Do you think V-Tennis (PS1) was TOSE? There's a few things that have me suspect it's them; 1.) Tokyo Shoseki published it. 2.) The staff names sound like TOSE names. 3.) In particular, looks like the music was by Hiroshi Nakajima and Mitsuto Suzuki.

Messing with granular synthesis is fun; this is basically a short two bar loop I recorded, and with an LFO and slowing it down a lot it turns into almost generative ambient, and you can just tweak the knob to go through all the tones present in the short loop but infinitely (basically) :3

The input effects and the fact you can do holds on all four layers while playing live has been insanely fun Also it loves being sequenced by something else too since it’s automatically split into four midi channels per layer
