Considering my research on historic #influenza epidemics for @mediaandepidemics.bsky.social, the launch of the @ukhsa.bsky.social Priority Pathogen tool is essential preparation as (prior to #COVID19) the UK had been planning for an influenza (not coronavirus) pandemic so a broader watchlist is key!

Today @ukhsa.bsky.social published a new priority pathogen reference tool to monitor and prioritise the 24 infectious diseases which pose the greatest threat to #publichealth ⬇️🦠
