Today in class, pupils celebrated #MathsWeekScotland with Folded Nature: Maths in Motion! 🌿✨ They explored maths in the natural world by creating origami animals and plants, discovering shape, symmetry & pattern through fun, hands-on learning. #OrigamiForNature #MathsInMotion

Today, we had a fantastic visit from INEOS! 🔬 S2.1 and S3.1 took part in an exciting STEM workshop, exploring how maths drives innovation and problem-solving in the real world. 💡 A great opportunity to see maths in action. Chocolatarium visit where pupils found out about the supply chain of cacao and looked at Fairtrade practices. As part of their visit the students were able to make their own chocolate bar as they were taken through the process of chocolate manufacturing from bean to the finished bar.

Yesterday, we held our annual YPI Launch assembly with our new S5. A big thank you to last year's winning group who shared their experience, including presenting at the National Ypi Final. Also to Lyn Raynal from YPI for sharing the value and benefits to both our pupils and local charities.

It was really good to see everyone back this week after the Summer Holidays 😊 For some pupils returning to school is a challenge, however as always we are here to support & help our pupils navigate their way through their emotions & all that comes with the return to school life 🥰
