I enjoy singing, even if I'm not adept at it. There's a feeling of freedom and just pure contentment that I can't quite describe when I'm doing so. But I'm also horribly self-conscious about how I sound. I'd love to learn it properly some day, if only to settle that notion one way or another.

Something I've had to unlearn as I've aged was a perfectionism ingrained in my youth. I was taught "If you're not going to do it right, don't do it at all." Nowadays I try to stick to "Get it done first, then make it good." I'm still a perfectionist, but it comes AFTER I'm done making something.

I think one of my favorite interactions at Anime Detour was the two people in an elevator that heard me speak and asked "Are you a VTuber?". When I replied "No", their response was to point at me and say "You have potential." Other such interactions had dubbed me "The Elevator Man".

I finally figured out why my PS5 Controller wasn't vibrating when using it for games on PC. I had disabled the speaker on the controller via the sound options in the control panel. Apparently, this determines whether or not the blasted thing will have its vibration function.
