It's hot (38C/100F) and very windy and there is a bushfire down the road. Not a great day. 🥵 The fire isn't super close, but it is less than 2 km away, so a little bit close for comfort. Hope everyone else is having a more pleasant day.

Hey Americans! I'm Aussie and I saw footage of that military parade on the news last night. Is it normal for US soldiers to march like that? I'm sure they could have done a better job if they really wanted to. Could this have been some kind of protest? They didn't look proud or enthusiastic. 🤷

Another reason this scene is difficult. My MCs are teenagers. My male MC's close friend is being picked on by a bully for being a lesbian. I found it really hard to write the homophobic things the bully was saying.😟 That guy will get what he deserves by the end! 😡 #WritingCommunity #AmWriting
