I attended an incredible workshop by Njál's Saga Tapastry Project. This 91-meter-long collaborative work is raising money for a museum to house it. The project took 7 years and is modeled after [email protected]. I loved learning this handcraft skill that reaches back through the ages

I'll be making an effort to learn how bluesky works. Since I will be moving to Ireland soon, it will probably be the easier way to keep in touch with people. Be patient with me, I'm from the 1900s :P

Had my 40th go around the sun. Enjoyed Friday Harbor, some incredible food, spooky forest mausoleums, and the most lovely bed and breakfast I've ever been to. Shared it all with my beautiful fiance who gifted me this very sweet drawing of us.

I recently had orientation at UW. I felt like the oldest kid in the room-because I was. Campus is beautiful and huge. I'm scared and excited to be returning to school at 39 but I'm very proud of myself for being admitted to such a great University. #UniversityofWashington #medicalanthropology

We moved all the furniture but the desks and bed yesterday. I've previously moved all the books, clothes, and craft supplies. It all fits in about 60 sq ft. I have so much in so little. I think that may mean I'm happy. The kitchen, bathroom, and art are being packed up today since I'm a PAX widow.

packing up my house for hopefully the last time in the next 4 years at least. I've moved 21 times in my life and most of them were big cross country or cross states moves. I adore Washington and my people here. I think my vagabond soul may finally be settling down.
