My most woke opinion is that nothing that is necessary for life should cost money. We are so good at growing food, at producing energy, building homes, making medicine, it should all be free. Eliminate insurance and any attempts to profit from necessities.

Watching GBBO with the wife, and when it was time for Paul & Prue to leave, Alison told them "Vamanos!" Any Spanish 1 student could tell you that's wrong, that means "We go." But I was proud to know that she meant "Vayanse!" and also oddly proud that I didn't know why. Felt very native speaker-y.

I've never had more conflicted feelings about the end of a work trip. Yay home, boo water leak, yay cats, boo no wife, yay my things, boo the weather.
