i can’t stop thinking about the state of our health care system here in so-called canada. i’ve been waiting on a cardiologist referral for two years now, ive honestly kind of given up. i know so many people who are waiting on more important, life-altering tests that can’t get help. it’s scary.

i am in the process of beading hospital bracelets i’ve collected over the past two years of hospitalizations. this is the first project while i am in residence at Banff Centre. this was a lot more emotional than i was anticipating. also in this house we ignore deadnames and misgendering.
