Vet visit today. He needed a jab. Always makes me laugh when he’s being examined because he turns into a bowl of jelly, no resistance whatsoever, just flops down so when they pick him up there’s always an “ahh he’s so good” followed by “Ooof” at the effort of lifting him

I don’t get to run games often, and when I do it’s usually work related. This week I’m running 5 games of Milky Monsters for 5 diff groups of teens. Ran the first last night and the BBEG was defeated in a rap battle. Milky Monsters is an EXCELLENT rule set for introducing TTRPG to young newbies

My landlord has informed me that they are selling the house and I’ve been given 2 months notice to vacate. I’ve been here 4 years and the rents in this area in that time have shot up. My house has always been a bit cheaper because it’s not in the best condition, but paying out another £400 per month

Just watched ep 4 of #Uncanny + am watching the post mortem ep. Must have missed them saying in the main ep that they had a cat. I have 2 cats who on occasion will bring me rodents. They always leave them in the same spot. I blame the cat for the hamster murders. Cats like to show off their kills 🐱

#boardgames drama as #BattleofVersailles made it to my table (it’s been on the shelf since UKGE last year. We’re not too sure about this one. I played USA and we had 4 games and I won every game, by a huge margin; very easily. Was frustrating for my play partner. Pretty sure we played it right 🤷‍♀️

#boardgames this weekend included #Parks #Wyrmspan #Arcs (at The Dice Box in Leamington) and #EverdellDuo on co-op campaign mode. Moving on to Chapter 2 of Everdell Duo and might see if I can sneak in a cheeky game of #BattleofVersailles before the night is out 😈

Sitting in bed dreaming up an itinerary for my perfect Japan trip (fingers crossed for 2026 travels!). Using the beautiful planning cards from @cakeswithfaces.bsky.social and scanning the QR codes as I go. Hoping the Kitsune backpack comes back in stock on the site soon 🤞💖

Played Great Western Legends last week - giving it 10/10 for chaotic yeehaws. Also played Beast - giving it 7/10, fun hidden movement, a little frustrating figuring out the rulebook at times, didn’t help that my play partner kept forgetting his beast movements 🤦‍♀️

In the last 5 days I have been able to play #Rebirth, #KyotoNoNeko, #ArkhamHorrorLCG, #Everdell and #Septima I LOVE BEING OFF WORK! Yay!
