Update on the Japan calendars: I've sent out all the pre-orders except the last 10! The remaining calendars have a printing error on one of the pages. The printers are reprinting them; they should be ready at the end of next week.

The GiGO arcade in Akihabara that closed earlier this year's re-opening on 22nd Nov - as another arcade called Silk Hat Tokyo (they used to have an arcade in Ikebukuro). I suspected it might still be a games arcade...!

Can't believe the Suica penguin's retiring! 😭 They're being replaced by a new mascot at the end of the 2026 financial year, after 25 years of service. There'll be a vote to choose the new mascot. I'll miss this little guy! These pics are from the Suica penguin store in Yokohama.

A new Sanrio Cafe & store are opening in Harajuku on 11th Dec! ✨ When the Pompompurin Cafe closed, there were rumours about a new Sanrio cafe, but this is the first official news. It'll be where Harajuku Alta used to be, with Kawaii Monster Land in the basement.
