We did a marathon of the Craig Bond films on Bluray recently and it’s kinda sad to see the decline in the art of the disc menus. Quantum of Solace is so stylish and clever. No Time To Die is utterly basic. Watching Red Dwarf now and missing the cute living quarters menus of the DVD releases. Shame.

I was a bit bummed because I thought I had really dropped my pace with the horror feature editing today since I only did one sequence. Now I've just completed the sequence and realised it is by far the most complex and by no means short bit of terror in the film. I can sleep sound(ish). Excitement!

An update about a Kickstartered game from some known horror filmmakers landed this evening, and it looks like it's all very negative news. It's weird to think something with so much work done and a considerable amount of money raised is either going to not happen, or happen veeeery poorly.

I really loved A Desert when I saw it at Frightfest and can’t wait to revisit it. Recommended for those who dig their viby films.

Just finished the new batch of Stranger Things and yeah, I dunno where all the hate for it has been coming from. Every time a season rolls around, people crap all over it, but it’s been pretty consistent all the way. Maybe folks who didn’t like anything after season 1 should have just stopped there?

Rewatching The Beyond for the umpteenth time and it’s the first time I’ve clocked the absolute absurdity that the painter falls off the scaffolding, immediately spews blood, looks like death, is barely conscious, and their decision is to skip the ambulance and just call a doctor for a house visit.

Though tough, the past few days remind me just how much I love creating. I bang this drum a lot, but I can't wait around for resources to do things 'properly'. I HAVE to create, and when I go for it, I go in with my whole heart. I'm excited for folks to see what this heart has brought this time!
