My first time on #Lindisfarne, what an amazing place! Packed full of wildlife, yesterday evening caught up with the American Black Tern (its 6th summer here) around the tern colony at Long Nanny, Roe Deers, Grey Seals & lots of common migrants passing through on migration.

We are lucky enough to be staying in this lovely valley in Dumfries and Galloway. Bats galore, #orchids in the meadows, red kites overhead, & goshawks feeding young in the adjacent woodland...just soaking it all in...unexpectedly diverse!
