Hello, little people in my phone. It's another home alone Friday for me - well, this morning anyway. Off to the airport this afternoon for a quick hop over to Belfast and a long weekend with Mrs C's sister and family way up country (they're farmers).

In bed and apparently I've done 9998 steps, today. So close. Might go for a slash but I'm not taking my phone so that won't help...

It's a year ago tonight that I got a phone call from dad saying that mum was having serious mobility issues in the bathroom An ambulance took her away and she never returned. I went to see dad today and noticed that the stair lift was still at the top of the stairs from that last time she used it 😢

I've got 2574 connections on LinkedIn (believe it or not, I decline more requests than I accept), and I reckon if 2400 walked past me in the street, I'd have no idea who they were.

Just found this. On a cold, wet, dreary February Monday morning as I headed to work in Bradford, I had absolutely no idea that by Friday, I'd be sat on a boulder on a beach just outside Los Angeles.

Evening, cool team. Mrs C and the girls went off wreath making so, my afternoon consisted of 1) A mahoosive roast lunch at the pub and a pint. 2) An hours nap. 3) Suffering a really annoying @mindlesmandles.bsky.social who wouldn't go away. 4) A trip to Lidl in my dressing gown and slippers.

Client has settled a big invoice overnight so I might go out and buy that new Renault 5*. *It wasn't that big an invoice
