Back in 2022 I got into classic Phantasy Star (Sega Ages version). I was drawn in by the blend of sci-fi + fantasy elements and quickly grew fond of this game's hidden complexity. I also have a newfound appreciation of Rieko Kodama's character design work, which I encourage everyone to look up!
