I had a dream I made an artwork for SMTVV that made it into an art book for the game. It was of the protag and Aogami and kind of in the style of Ayami Kojima (Castlevania). Do I think I can pull off bringing this dream-art to life? No. Will I try? Absolutely. 🥲

I really do like chill content though.

My poor old lady cat bruised her hip quite badly (thankfully no breaks) but now she's just depressed because she can't walk anywhere without being wobbly and tipping over. She tries to walk 3-legged but her other rear leg isn't strong enough to do that so she just...plops over.

I thought about it, and I my inner dialogue was like "I could have done the art for [family member]" but the second line of dialogue was "but it wouldn't be as perfect as what the AI made" and I...ugh. I shouldn't think like that. But that was my honest thought, terrible as it is.

Tried desperately to match a family member's energy today about some "art" they made with AI. I think I managed not to show it on my face, but that type of stuff is really like a slap to the face when saying it to someone who does art. Real art. 🥲

Usually we get off early in years past the day before a holiday but we "have too much to do" today. Everyone I've talked to is burnt the fuck out, what kind of work are we getting done when we can't even think about it properly? Am I salty? Yes. But about more than one thing regarding this matter.

This is the year of BL hyperfixation. We started the year with SMTV (but it's never truly over) and we're ending with Cherry Magic lmao Dirty Vibration was in the middle, too.

I didn't know until today that Ayesha Erotica made a cover of New Order's "Blue Monday" and it's such a GOOD cover. Like, I truly started listening to it and my jaw dropped.

We have unfortunately Pavlov'd my oldest cat to perk her ears up and bring her attention to us when we say the word "ass" and I think that's really funny.

When I was a late teen, I used to draw whatever dumb shit that came to my mind. Somewhere along the way I didn't feel like it was worth it. It's definitely worth the satisfaction of getting out of my brain and on paper/digital canvas, though. 😆

I watched the Cherry Magic anime, and I loved it so much I started the manga. God it's great, it's so romantic and at first I praised the world they had lived in because it seemingly lacked homophobia. And then it got a bit more realistic, which is fine, it's for the better (and makes drama).

I'm earmarking some specific manga panels I'd love to redraw with either my OTPs or my OCs. These won't be digital drawings, but physical ones for filling out my sketchbook - it seems like a fun idea and I need more excuses to draw more. Don't know if I'll share any of them, I might.

I don't know when I became so rigid about my OCs. Somewhere along the way I decided that "they can't be like this" or "they can't dress like that" because of some story-related reason or sometimes a skill issue. Screw it! Draw the OCs doing whatever, dressed however! Life is too short.
