I have a wonderful collection I love sharing with a game I run in a friend’s discord where I show off specimens from my collection with information about the stone and then the members guess its name hangman style! The winner gets a cute ms paint doodle and everyone gets the knowledge of a rock 🪨

In the few minutes I was outside a couple days ago, a mosquito bit me directly on top of my foot 🫠 right by my toes. I didn’t realize it until the next day because I always have socks on so when I changed my sock I got a nasty surprise and then the itch kicked in. I’m allergic to their bites too! 😭

We already had content filters, this just makes the site unusable and deters a chunk of your audience from posting

And in case it needs to be said: you don't become a good person by harassing the "right" individuals. That will never make you good. Good people actively *do* good for the people around them. But that's a lot more work, and less fun than sadism you've morally justified to yourself.

I always see nonpartisan, righteous anger at public art. Everyone loves to hate a concrete blob bought with taxpayer money, what's it even meant to be etc. My hot take: art funding is good and there's no benign policy for keeping out 'bad' art. You really just gotta fund it until a good one happens

My other hot take is that valuing art on just effort and technical skill is designed to placate people who are skeptical about the value of art to begin with - and realism and detail happen to be the areas where those are demonstrated most clearly to the layperson and can be measured objectively
