I watched Banshees Of Inisherin the first time last weekend. While I lack the cultural context for the civil war metaphor, I can't get the movie out of my head. Loss is a major theme, but I can't help but feel hopeful. All that loss is driven entirely out of love. It's tragic and beautiful.
