Anyone else love Walt Simonson’s Avengers run as much as they did his Fantastic Four run? It got a really bad rap, but it’s some stellar story beats! Add in the Counsel of Kangs, Kang-Nebula-Ravonna! John Buscema giving us his last hurrah on a series that has become synonymous with his name!

One of my first Avengers issues I bought, and I loved every second of it. Wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, because I hadn’t read Operation Galactic Storm, but I’d catch up pretty fast. This made me start buying ALL of the Avengers related titles, as well as back issues to get caught up.
