I was intending to be productive this summer break, but my gremlin children (and anxiety dog) have really ruined that entire idea. I still exist though and intend to return to streaming shortly after the school year begins. I might look a bit different upon my return though 👀

Rigging hair physics is such a love/hate relationship for me. It's so tedious to rig all the parameters needed, but the result is just so good. I want it to be done already so I can see it all flow together but *i'm* the one who has to make that happen and it's just so much.

Today in rigging is the hell that is a tattoo that goes across pecs and abs. This will most likely be the start of tomorrow in rigging as well. I gave into the glue calling to me and started throwing glue at it and it seems to be helping the connection between, but I still gotta get the rest.

Kids got a an extra day to their weekend, so trying to make myself work on artmeshing the body of profs model but being tempted to just play games like they are. Must work. Game later. The deadline is approaching, MUST work. Stardew Farm will wait.

I've started framing out the hair angles using the 3D rotation expression tool and I think I'm in love with this tool at this point. Yeah there is stuff I gotta adjust afterwards, but it's so good for an initial framing of everything. Thank you VBridger tutorial for teaching me how to use this tool!

Everyday this year has been either a cleaning or a rigging day I believe, when parenting allowed. I can't wait to be done with the cleaning enough to focus on the rig though - finishing it deadline is encroaching, but mom move in day is encroaching faster.

I thought I had meshed all of the hair already, but apparently I still have a few to go. Guess today's goal is to make sure the head is 100% meshed as there's a few other details still needing meshed too. Angles can start tomorrow then. *mumbles vertices over and over again for the rest of the day*

The older two are back in school today and we've made enough cleaning progress I can take a day to work on rigging husbands model, yippee! Won't be streaming though as I'm trying to learn new stuff and need to be able to focus as I do so.

I hate December. Every freaking year it's just illness month. At this rate I'm postponing xmas to middle of January - if I'm lucky.

Unfortunately think we'll be going another day without a stream - my neck still hurts like hell. I'll prolly do some meshing today though so I'm at least making some progress, but brain power is being restricted by pain. So is ability to sit in my computer chair for too long.

I was hoping to feel like a person earlier in the day so I could stream something, but alas it's too late now for my 3/4 of a person feeling self to go live. Perhaps tomorrow we'll either do infinity nikki stuff or I'll draw some art meshes on stream. Something generally mindless.

Both times I tried to lay down for a nap I instead got a call from the school nurse to come pick up a child. I have no more children to pick up from school so I'm afraid of who'd call next if I tried to lay down again. And now I have a bunch of sick gremlins home as well.

One of the worst parts of getting sick is trying to figure out when I'm better enough to start working on things I want to be working on again. Am I well enough to take in new information? Am I well enough to think about perspectives? Or am I barely functional enough to play a game?

I went from feeling bad to completely awful and now hopefully feeling a bit better. Still not great, but i think I might be able to get off my couch for small periods of time now. Hopefully I'll be fully human again in just a couple days.

I started Infinity Nikki last night. I'm not very far, as I only had a couple hours before I needed sleep, and I only have like the first two basic ability outfits - but I'm already loving it. Can't wait to play again today and get fishing/bug catching/ and animal pets/brushing.
