Just finished @leahlitman.bsky.social “Lawless.” Well-written and argued. I knew how bad it is, but the intentional cruelty of SCOTUS jumps off the page. I have been sick to my stomach and had trouble sleeping. If you weren’t convinced that our democracy is at risk, pls read this book.

This am my son got his car stuck half in and half out in the street in the ice. We worked for 25 min & got nowhere. Local handyman stopped & cheerfully spent 40 min in 16 degree weather getting him unstuck. There are good folks doing acts of kindness still among us. Will call him for next project!

For a good portion of my life, belly dancing has been my preferred exercise. A bad injury on my knees kept me to yoga and Pilates for the last 2 yrs. D did a 30 min bd workout this am. How could I possibly find muscles I had forgotten I had?
