One of my pet peeves of nostalgia media is placing music during a time period where it did not exist (some few exceptions here). Hence, I had to look up when Hybrid Theory was released and it's during the time where my second book takes place (and the PS2 just came out!)! Angst time!!!

The best advice as a writer I ever received was, "Are you working on a second book?" That was asked in early January this year. My first book would be out two months later. Currently in the editing process of my second book. I'm at 73K words with edits and peppering. Hoping to get more done!

Happy I left a fandom wherein I was people pleasing for another fandom. I was hoping to be invited to parties so I can bake and create thematic treats. Funny enough, it was my cis male friends that actually nudged me to stay in the fandom and helped me navigate it. With that said, go Chargers!

I had 2 author talks over the weekend - Anime Lockdown (online) and with the Untold Story Bookstore (Anaheim, CA). Both were amazing events! I may have only sold one book at my event, but the most important part of it all was getting oldtaku to make connections and bond over our shared experience.
