The Young Magazine USA debut issue releases later this week at Anime NYC and Kinokuniya stores in America. Earlier this month we did a dive into all of the artists that will be part of this 1000 page English issue!

For the March 2025 issue of Monthly Corocoro Comics, the magazine asks the authors what painting or movie would they like to enter the world of! There is quite a variety of answers from movies, to paintings, and even some manga!

Did you know there was an English manga reading platform called "Comicle" with 25 exclusive series? The app was an attempt to branch out the Japanese "Mecha Comics" internationally, but is now in the process of shutting down. We take a look at this overlooked manga platform in our latest article.

While Yoichi Takahashi may be more well-known for his "Captain Tsubasa" manga, the 1993 Jump Multi World event and booklet instead had an increased focus on his lesser-known title he had serialized at the time, "Chibi."

Following the sports manga success of Captain Tsubasa in Weekly Shonen Jump, Koji Koseki found his success with some baseball-themed manga series starting in the late 80s. With this, he was also featured in the Jump Multi World booklet in 1993 which he highlights some of his favorite early series.

In 1993 with the Jump Multi World booklet, numerous past mangaka were highlighted including Masami Kurumada which had the hit manga series "Ring ni Kakero" and "Saint Seiya." In his author comment he notes about his debut series "Sukeban Arashi" and Weekly Shonen Jump.

While internationally this series is less well known, the 1993 Jump Multi World event and booklet highlighted Koichi Endo's "Tsuide ni Tonchinkan" manga series. At the time, after concluding in Weekly Shonen Jump it was running in Monthly Shonen Jump magazine.

Continuing with the hit series of the early 90s, "Slam Dunk" was the next series featured in the 1993 Jump Multi World event and booklet. Included with this is some special illustrations made exclusively for the event.
