Played about 5 hours of RE9 so far, and I'm quite enjoying it. I hope it can manage to keep this momentum up. Switch 2 port is decent. Not the best running but it sure manages to look nice still.

Decided to doodle the Evergrace gang now that I've beaten it.

Been playing Evergrace since the absurd ost made it the most interesting of Fromsofts back catalogue and I gotta say, its weirdness has kind of smitten me so far. Hard to say if it'll keep up for the whole game though.

I assure you. Folklore is not a difficult game to understand.

Decided to make a lil best of for the games I played (for the first time) this year.

I beat gogma balls today and finally decided to uninstall Wilds. The performance has been getting slightly better with updates, but the drip fed content and lack of an early-mid game just killed my enjoyment. It feels like the fast food of the series and none of the TUs fixed this.

If the pragmata developers can maintain the level of quality seen in the demo for the game, then it'll be an obvious goty candidate for me next year.

Played through the Dreamcast version of Blue Shift (partially since it's so short and it was made for this port after all) Extremely interesting part of game history but man is it unpleasant to play Half-Life with these controls, this framerate, and those load/save times.

Looking at Backloggd reviews for Black Mesa Source and a disturbing amount of them seem to conflate this game with the original. Attributing major changes made by the mod team to what Valve did. They're such vastly different experiences and you're doing a disservice to both by only playing one.

Played (what's currently released) of Raising the Bar: Redux. Extremely high effort and generally quality mod that, at least initially really sells the beta HL2 feel it's going for. It has some poor pacing, and level design feels very much like a mod. But worth a few hours of your day.

Played through The Room for the first time and it was pretty good. Some awkward controls, bad escort AI, and hilarious stock sound effects did little to hamper the immaculate atmosphere on display, and the games narrative was entertaining to untangle too. I just wish Henry had any characterization.
