Besides black metal in general, I'd have to go with Zappa, Primus, and Mr. Bungle. Throw Igorrr in there too. I respect and admire artists that fully embrace their weirdness. Commercial viability be damned.

I'm absolutely devastated this morning. We had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Leela. She was the most loyal, gentle, sweet, smart, and spoiled dog ever. For the last 14 years she's rarely been more than 10 feet away from me at any time. Rest easy sweet girl.

Things are getting weird today at Fathomless HQ

Reamping isn't always about fancy amps and nice mics. Sometimes you just need a shitty second wave tone courtesy of a 30 year old solid state combo and my guest bathroom shower. 30 minutes of setup time to make a 30 second part sound bad on purpose. Music is fun.

The neighbor kid is at my house again. I'm glad that my son has someone to play with, but my god is this kid loud and annoying. He's been here half an hour and I'm now on my second beer, hoping it helps the headache he's already given me.

9 months ago I joined Ashenheart, and I've really enjoyed getting to perform with (and getting to know) these lovely people. Christmas came early for my wife and me. We love Star Trek and Lego, so ordering this was a no brainer. It even came with the "bonus gift" shuttlepod with Ro Laren minifig.
