It was so interesting doing a project in @reactrouter.com after being in @vuejs.org land for so long. I do think Vuejs is easier to approach when learning front end for the first time. Also my first time using Tailwind CSS and MAN is it dangerous how easy it is. One lil class to truncate text, man.

I had wanted to publish out a new tech article on my vacation, to keep my momentum going, but I caught a cold in Spain and it’s taking all I have to even enjoy being here. Sometimes life laughs at your plans, but it’s okay. I’ll just pick back up when I’m home.

It’s very interesting being in Spain as now basically all websites have to get my permission for cookies, even ones I already visited while in the US. I think it’s great how much stricter they are about data here.

I gave my first public Tech Talk last night about the Class Keyword in Javascript and I was actually giddy! It was so fun to share this niche knowledge with people and everyone was so kind and receptive with it. I'll be sharing the video soon so keep an eye out. Next goal, conference speaking!

This is such a good post! It's the bitter truth that many developers refuse to swallow, in my experience. I get it, writing new things is fun but it's just not what the job usually entails. We must learn to balance economic reality in our expectations or we'll be miserable. dev.to/sylwia-lask/...

It's only been a couple weeks and I already love, love, love my PKM with @obsidian.md. I would highly recommend it to anyone but especially newer developers who are having to ingest a lot of information quickly.
