There's no good way of spinning this. Yan Diomande wants to compete for a start at PSG, instead of being a guaranteed starter at #LFC. We will likely find a top player who can get 20+ goals and assists for us next season but it's still a blow to want a player and for him to choose someone else.

Liverpool last season got 84 points (W 25, D 9, L 4), this season #LFC got 60 points (W 17, D 9, L 12). We are 5 points behind Aston Villa, 11 points behind Manchester United, 18 points behind Manchester City and 25 points behind Arsenal. Our style and system needs to change to improve results.

I just want to know what is his appointment going to do to change #LFC? Reports suggest he will help us with set-pieces, which is fine because we could benefit from more work being done on that. Our big problems though has been our attack not clicking and our defence being poor almost all season.

This is what I expected to happen, the beginning of our season should have been rough. Probably should have cost #LFC the title this season because we couldn't catch up. The problem is either they haven't managed to move on, which shouldn't have been an expectation, or something else held us back.
