how it feels being back on my meds rn

i’ve been without my meds for almost a week. i spent a good portion of the weekend asleep and depressed. im fine but also… fck.

i spent my day pulling wire and the last two runs were a bitch. we got 97% of the way through the run and the fish tape breaks, thus losing the circuits ~3’ from the end with no way to finish the pull.

i’m still friends with some of my grade school teachers, and it breaks my heart to see these people who made such a significant positive impact on my life sharing their newfound hopelessness, questioning their abilities and professions, and questioning their purpose.

so after 8 years w my cellphone provider, for some reason, my bill had skyrocketed from 100 to 140/mo since 2023. a few weeks ago i called to request some kind of fix or i would have to move to a new provider. todays bill? $100.

spoke with my therapist saturday and she was very happy to know i’ve come a long way with emotional regulation but when i asked for coping with adhd she said i should meet with my psych regarding getting my adhd meds back. :,) that there’s only so much “coping” can do with lack of chemicals.
