On July 7, a federal immigration agent killed Lorenzo Salgado in Texas. Since Trump’s 2nd term in office, DHS agents have shot 21 individuals, killing six.

Minnesota charged an ICE officer and had him arrested in Texas. Similar unlawful shootings by immigration agents have taken place in California. Yet, no charges have been filed by state officials in those.

This week, the Miñana Center welcomed Vanessa Young Viniegra. Vanessa joins the team as a Staff Attorney.
