I'm coming to this realization, too. I relate it to my grandfather (a carpenter) and built things until he died. My dad works with steel and also finds joy in building things. They did it because they could, and got joy from it. I often wonder if I'll keep the same passion through life.

Interesting phone call. The airport police detained 2 people who had a copy of my id card and drivers license and a list of my crypto exchange accounts. The only place I ever sent a copy of my driver's license was Binance to verify my account a few weeks back..

I'm in the middle of going from GCP to Hetzner for a small app with a few thousand queries per second. Ill go from 360 to 34 euro/m. There are difficulties though. You need to properly get roles, users, the wal, plan for storage, backups, network and so on.
