I beat Donkey Kong Bananza. 10 out of 10. As worthy a Game of the Year frontrunner as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in my opinion. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic but the finale was incredible. It's a 3D Platformer only this team could make.

After 55 hours its finally done.

I've nearly 100% Bananza at this point. I should announce that I'm planning to review the game thoroughly, if I get enough time. Game is remarkable, truly something special. If you wanted to wait until the Switch 2 had a big blockbuster title, this is the game for you.

I understand why it had to launch with Mario Kart, but had the Switch 2 launched with DK Bananza I think I'd be much happier with it. Don't get me wrong, love my console, but Mario Kart just isn't doing it for me. I find myself using the console more for Switch 1 games than anything...

Cyberpunk going great so far

Something worth noting is the GC NSO controller acts just like a regular GameCube controller you'd plug in via adapter. It natively works with Super Mario 3D Allstars (Sunshine) and I assume Smash Bros as well.

This issue was solved after setup. Somehow. I dont know why I struggled to get it to work in the first place. Bizarre.

Mario kart is pretty fun. Its what I expected. Im thoroughly whelmed by it.

I have in the times since my last posts about it: finished, started, and finished another 120 shine playthrough of Super Mario Sunshine

I can pretend I'm playing Mario Sunshine because summer is starting, but the reality is I'm playing Mario Sunshine because I can't get enough of it.

my hot take is Galaxy 2 has much more memorable levels than Galaxy 1 does. I think there's a power gap in quality between the 2.
