We are not done introducing our great associate editors! This week, meet associate editor Ian Campbell. Ian studies prerevolutionary Russia, focusing on the relationship between the imperial center and its non-Russian borderlands.

Did you know that Kritika has four fabulous associate editors? Today, meet Associate Editor Maria Grazia Bartolini, associate professor of Medieval Slavic Culture at the University of Milan.

In case you missed it: Kritika is excited to welcome Erin Hutchinson as our new Associate Editor. Erin is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she teaches courses on the history of the Soviet Union, the Russian Empire, and modern Europe.

In Kritika's last issue, our editors addressed some of the field's greatest challenges— funding cuts, threats to academic freedoms, and the continued impact of the war in Ukraine—but also the steps Kritika is taking to counter these threats to scholarship.
