As someone who hosted a podcast that went out to a VERY large audience for many years, we moved to video remembering that good quality audio was the primary goal. Video is a way of improving accessibility for people who lip read, alongside good captions. Transcripts are important in both.

One of my goals for 2026 (now I'm not working every day of the week) is to read more TTRPG books. I've got Spire and One Ring high on the list, but let me know if there are other favourites I should be checking out. Definitely up for some non-fiction as well.

A real privilege to give a guest lecture on writing for games at RMIT tonight. Means a lot to me to hopefully open the door to TTRPGs to someone else, the same way @markmwrites.bsky.social did for me.

This is one of the reasons I provide a plain text Word doc with my games. Sure, people could misuse it but it's worth it for accessibility. If you ever need to convert it to an epub to meet your needs it's fine with me.

This made me feel better about taking months to write a game review, because I always want it to be the best review I've written to date, and I mostly don't care if anyone reads it. I'm happy in my little literary game criticism corner of the internet.
