Had a brilliant evening at the National Poetry Awards @poetrysociety.bsky.social last night. Congratulations to everyone - I loved all the winning poems. And London was pretty.

Farnham, the traffic may be terrible and I may not have much voice, but I’m super-excited to bring you some poetry tonight!

After years in the classroom and much trial and error, this is the trio I find most successful at keeping germs away. But I’ve run poetry workshops for nearly 1000 kids this week and even these musketeers couldn’t handle it - first sore throat and sniffle in a year 🤧😭😂 oh well, it was worth it!
