Platinum #279 goes to Atelier Yumia Time: 46 hours Difficulty: 3/10 Score: 7/10 Not as great as the Ryza series or Sophie I & II but a solid addition to the Atelier Series overall I prefer the turn-based combat of the prior titles to the action combat and the synthesis was much more simplified

This is my PSA to tell you to play the Atelier series! It's a very cozy JRPG with crafting at its core! If you are new to the series and like turn based combat I would start with the Ryza trilogy. If you prefer action combat I would start with Yumia. Either way you can't go wrong!

Platinum #278 goes to Mafia The Old Country Time: 28 hours Difficulty: 4/10 Score: 8/10 This game was very solid with a gripping story and engaging gunplay. My only complaints were the uneven pacing and the "boss" fights had no variation. Overall, a good addition to the Mafia series and lore.

Platinum #277 goes to Mindseye Time: 12 Hours Difficulty: 3/10 Score: 7/10 Post patches this was a solid sci-fi third person shooter with a good story, graphics and characters. Gameplay was a little repetitive and outdated and the game still needs a performance patch due to fps drops.

Update on Mindseye after playing half of the story missions. 18/35. It's a solid 7/10. Great graphics. Solid story. Where it lacks is subpar gameplay and mindless driving missions used as filler. They seemed to have fixed the technical issues on PS5 but sometimes performance is still 30fps.

I've been playing Mindseye and I'm actually having a decent time with it so far about 5 hours in. The graphics and story are great, but the performance definitely needs a patch. I do find it to be better than the Metacritic suggest.

Platinum #276 goes to Clair Obscure Expedition 33 Time: 58 hours Difficulty: 4/10 Score: 10/10 This is a game that comes along once a decade. It manages to do everything right from story to characters to combat to the OST. I can't stress enough how magical and important this experience is.
