I've done well enough in my author career where I've had months I've sold many hundreds of books. I've had other months where I've sold less than 10. Let me say, those months where I sold less than 10 were heartbreaking, but I appreciated each of those sales SO MUCH MORE

Today, I weighed 200.1 (lost 22 pounds so far) and while I was happy (it's the lowest weight I've weighed in at least 10 years), I'm also really annoyed 🤣 let me get below 200 already

My girlfriend's surgery went well - no signs of cancer in her removed colon. She is now back home and recovering. Glad for that. Now back to yelling into the void on here and hoping I can reconnect with everyone I used to interact with on Twitter

I SHOULD be around on here more lately because I'd like to build a more solid presence here but I haven't been able to summon the energy. My girlfriend has been in the hospital after having her colon removed due to her Crohn's and I've just been feeling bleh waiting for her to get home

Kind of absurd people don't want somebody promoting their own books on their own account. What you should get mad at is people promoting their books unsolicited in DMs or on unrelated posts lol

I just started watching the show Barry and it's pretty amazing - both hilarious and dark. Hank (pictured below) is absolutely hilarious. So is Stephen Root's character, Fuches. Almost done with season 2, hoping seasons 3 and 4 are just as good

I just pushed the "go live" button on the hardcover edition of BEFORE THE END. Should be live in a day or two (or if we're lucky, a few hours). That process took for too long. Now comes the task of mailing a few copies out to reviewers and wiping my hands clean of this book

I FINALLY finished Baldur's Gate 3. 10/10 game for me, Shadowheart is my favorite, although Karlach is a very close second. My only criticism is that act 3 has sooooooooo many people to talk to and most of them have nothing to say. Why make them interactive? Really slowed down my progress lol

Ever since BEFORE THE END released, I've been seeing a resurgence in sales for THE TRIALS OF ASHMOUNT which is lovely.

Well... the good news is that my checkups on my feet and eyes (testing for diabetics issues) both turned out to be perfect according to both doctors. So yay.

Today I get to go to a podiatrist to get my perfectly fine feet checked because of my diabetes diagnosis. Not happy about it because I had to wake up early and I'm certain there's nothing wrong lol.

Since my recent diabetes diagnosis, I have lost 10 pounds. My goal is to hit 180 (down from 222)

I had to lighten up the cover for BEFORE THE END because it wasn't printing well. So here's an updated "cover reveal"

I'm not sure if I should just quit Twitter and focus on here or try to do both. Seems like a lot of people are here. I prefer the other platform's UI and put a lot of work into that account lol. Seems sad to abandon it, but it might be worth it if I can find a similar audience here
