Well, yay Pride! Took the kid last year and had the delightful experience (as an ancient straight woman) explaining Dykes on Bikes and other paraders to the cute gay Canadian couple sitting next to us. My kid looked at me and said, “wow, mom, you really are an ally.” Best compliment ever.
