I definitely enjoyed this trailer a lot more than the teaser they did a while back. The fights look pretty bonkers in the best way possible, and Cammy's jab at chun-li's legs was pretty funny. This certainly gave me more confidence in the film.

I've been following this project since @miamoore.bsky.social first came up with the idea on Twitter years ago, even kicked in for it, and I could not be more excited that it's finally coming out. She's an incredible filmmaker and performer, and she should be a big fucking deal.

It's very obvious why they are doing this. By removing the in-house visual team and moving to contractors, disney no longer has to pay for benefits like health insurance or pensions. It's the same tactics that the WWE uses to keep most of their wrestlers broke.

It's going to be extremely difficult to match the perfection of the first film, but he clearly has a deep love for the franchise and as long as he has that, then I can guarantee this movie will be fun and enjoyable ❤️.

Despite a rough first 20 minutes, I found that once the main plot starts going, the mario galaxy movie can still deliver the fun adventure that I enjoyed very much in the first film but I do admit that it is a more flawed and disappointing step down from that first film. Score: 2/5
